Photovoltaic power generation projects leverage the abundant local solar resources to provide green energy, achieving the conversion and utilization of clean energy.
However, before installing the photovoltaic panels, a large number of helical ground anchors or photovoltaic pipe piles need to be driven into the ground as support foundations. Helical ground anchors are screwed into the ground by an earth drill, while photovoltaic pipe piles are driven into the ground by an excavator-mounted vibro pile driver.
1. Application of Earth Drills
For projects that use helical ground anchors, the earth drill is simply connected to an excavator, with the output shaft at the bottom connected to the anchor. After eliminating installation and debugging time, driving the ground anchors takes just a few seconds, resulting in high operational efficiency.
Earth drills not only provide high efficiency, but also deliver stable performance. The drill rod components can be replaced according to the soil type and pile diameter, making it an economical and practical solution. It is adaptable to soil conditions such as clay and sandy layers.
2. Application of Vibro Pile Drivers
For projects using photovoltaic pipe piles, the excavator-mounted vibro pile driver can directly drive the pipe piles into the ground. However, if the soil is hard, a pilot hole may be required before driving the piles. The earth drill can be used to excavate a half-depth hole, into which the pipe pile is inserted, and then the vibro pile driver can be used to drive the pile into the ground.
